What is ETL?
ETL means extract, transform, and load. Brain Wave ETL draws that pipeline on this computer and runs it with Brain Wave Service, including supported databases and SaaS connectors.
Extract, transform, load
Extract reads rows or records from a source. Transform maps and changes them. Load writes the result to a destination. That sequence is a pipeline, not a SQL editor and not a one-time schema copy.
Loop Life Brain Wave ETL is the suite application for pipelines. You draw the flow on a canvas. Brain Wave Service runs it on the same computer: a Windows service, or a process on Linux. Live status says whether that service is running.
Databases and SaaS
Database connections on the Brain Wave page include PostgreSQL, SQL Anywhere, Oracle, Redshift, Databricks, Azure SQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse, MariaDB, DuckDB, SQLite, MySQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, and BigQuery.
SaaS and REST connectors on that page are HubSpot, Salesforce, Shopify, ServiceNow, Freshdesk, Stripe, GitHub REST, and Microsoft Graph. There is no claim of 300 connectors.
Failed rows stay visible
Failed rows are a page in Brain Wave, next to the mapping log and schema changes. The pipeline does not promise a perfect load. You can see what did not land.
